Nantucket Interior Designer Tara Young Earley

Tara began her Nantucket interior design career in 2001 at Nantucket House Antiques and Interior Design Studios. She was involved in the renovations of the Nantucket Dreamland, Nantucket Airport, and the Atheneum on Nantucket. Her work for Nantucket clients has extended into interior design projects in New York, Connecticut, Washington D.C., Michigan, and Florida.

In 2013, Tara started her own Nantucket interior design business and was voted “Best of Nantucket” in the 2015, by the readers of The Inquirer and Mirror.

Born in Manhasset, NY, she grew up in Atlanta, GA, and attended The Lovett School. She went to boarding school at The Hotchkiss School in CT, and on to Middlebury College in VT, where she majored in Art History, Architecture, and Studio Art. Tara spent a semester at The Slade School of Art, University College London. During summers in college she worked for The South Wharf Gallery and The William Welch Gallery on Nantucket.

Tara is also a painter and a member of The Artists Association of Nantucket. Her primary medium is oil on canvas, but she also enjoys watercolor, decorative painting, and restoration work.
